WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
•Ensure the visibility and access of the patient representative program.
•Communicate the function of patient representative to hospital staff.
•Coordinate or conduct a patient visit to 70% of new admits to communicate the patient representative's role and availability.
•Serve as a liaison for administration.
•Acknowledge reported concerns within 24 hours and provide necessary follow up.
•Discuss appropriate response to complaints with unit manager.
•Coordinate Press Ganey Reports, including responses and providing managers with opportunity to review results.
•Coordinate Mission Services Program.
•Communicate effectively with all patients and members of the health care team.
•Maintain the dignity and confidentiality of the patient.
•Use proper channels of communication, keeping nurse informed of significant information.
•Use time productively and works independently.
•Ability to display empathy while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
•High School Diploma/ GED- Required
•Bachelor's degree- Preferred
•2 Years Customer Service Experience- Required
