Description:Energy Management EngineerYou will support the certification of our Client NM site to the ISO50001 energy management system.Looking for expertise in business /energy program analysis as well as engineering background.You will engage with CS and Manufacturing partners to analyze energy use, efficiency, and performance across equipment sets to identify improvement opportunities.Responsibility:Performs analysis of operational processes, resource allocation, energy use, and safety processes, recommends and implements improvements, and provides test and commissioning support.Evaluates operational systems and facility infrastructure to ascertain and improve operational efficiencies, develops processing plans, and optimizes resource allocation.Collaborate with project managers project engineers and contractors on new construction/renovation projects to deliver retrofit projects.Development of, and delivery of energy training and energy use/efficiency awareness and reporting.Manage Facility Management company performance on Energy efficiency of assets under control.Management of Utility company incentives. Be Point of Contact for their agents.Energy Efficiency Opportunity DevelopmentProvide technical leadership to initiate, and partner with facilities engineers to scope and develop energy efficiency opportunities.Carry out measurements, engineering calculations and feasibility studies to determine energy efficiency project viability to progress to design and implementation.Development of Measurement and Verification Plans to ISO 50001 standards.Identification of resources and required funding. Prioritization, approval, and project management of resources.Perform Field audits to evaluate systems efficiencies at facilities and production level.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:The candidate must possess at least one of the following:Bachelor's degree, in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy Engineering, Chemical or similar facilities discipline and 5+ years of relevant facilities ownership or energy management experience.Advanced English levelMaster's degree in mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Electrical, Energy Engineering, Chemical or similar facilities discipline and 3+ years of relevant experience.Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to challenge boundary conditions and develop innovative strategies and actions.In-depth knowledge of the design, operation, and control of systems: including chillers, air handlers, exhaust systems, boilers, compressed air; pumping, reverse osmosis, and air separation in such applications as industry, cleanroom, data centers, and office buildings.Understanding of energy use and operational energy efficiency improvement strategies. Good understanding of rest of world practices concerning energy efficiency and how these practices would be reapplied at Client.Certifications in Energy Management issued by recognized local/international agencies would be an added advantage.Additional client information:
