Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Orange County, CA. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the management and coordination of commercial HVAC and plumbing projects.

Responsibilities:

Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial HVAC and plumbing projects.

Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and project correspondence.

Communication: Facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal team members.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and field staff to ensure project goals are met.

Budget Monitoring: Assist in tracking project budgets and expenses.

Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure work meets project specifications.

Problem-Solving: Proactively address project challenges and collaborate on solutions.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to local building codes and regulations.

Client Interaction: Interact with clients to provide updates and address inquiries.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in a construction-related role, preferably as an assistant project manager.

Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Stable Work History: Demonstrated stability in employment history.

Local Candidates: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Orange County, CA.
