Driver for Skilled Nursing residents

Our Driver position is responsible for greeting all residents, team members, and visitors in a warm, confident, and knowledgeable manner. She/he is responsible for ensuring the safe travel of the residents to and from their appointments. Works as a member of our team to deliver excellence in hospitality and customer service. She/he is responsible for assisting with carrying of packages, groceries, and luggage for transportation within the community. During slow times, this position will help with light maintenance/housekeeping.
$16.50-$17.50/hr depending on experience
Full Time 8am-4pm M-F Schedule requiring some flexibility for early or late afternoon pickups.
Work Duties
- Must be able to meet physical requirements to lift, pull, push wheelchairs and gurneys with hospital admissions.
- Operates a motor vehicle to pick up, transport and return residents to and from meals, medical appointments, and/or other activities;
- Coordinates the pickup and delivery of Residents between various sites;
- Schedules appointments to service a maximum number of residents;
- Assists residents in and out of vehicles;
- Assists administrative team with administrative duties and/or tasked, as required.
- During slow times, this position will help with light maintenance/housekeeping.
- Performs other related essential duties as required.
- One to three years of driving experience with a clean DMV record
- Must have clearance with State Department of Motor Vehicles with no serious violations.
- High school diploma or equivalent
