NorthSight Recovery is an outpatient behavioral health agency seeking clinical therapists to join the team. We offer partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient services for those struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions.

The clinician is responsible for completing intake assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and ongoing individual and group therapy. The clinician is responsible for maintaining clinical documentation that meets the state's requirements. The clinician engages in ongoing professional development through online resources, clinical supervision, or other continuing educational activities.

At this time we are only seeking candidates that are Independently licensed (LPC, LISAC, LCSW) or license eligible at the Associate level by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (LAC, LASAC, LMSW).

The Clinical Therapist:

  • Collaborates with the client and their natural supports to develop and implement an effective service plan, takes time to explain the available clinical options to the client and their natural supports and identifies the advantages and disadvantages of the options
  • Provides clinically appropriate psychotherapy services in accordance with applicable ethical code(s), rules, and regulations
  • Serves as the point of contact for coordination and communication with other systems where clinical knowledge of the case is crucial
  • Assists in screening and coordinating integrated services for clients
  • Continuously evaluates the effectiveness of treatment through the ongoing assessment of the client and their natural supports that may result in a modification to the service plan, as necessary
  • Ensures coordination of care out of the area, out of the state or out of the Arizona system prior to discontinuation of services
  • Maintains a thorough and comprehensive client record
  • Participates in individual and group supervision that meet the standards set by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners, and in accordance with organizational policy
  • Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Masters Degree in Behavioral Health field (psychology, counseling, or social work). Independently licensed (LPC, LISAC, LCSW) or license eligible at the Associate level by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (LAC, LASAC, LMSW). Supervision can be provided.

At least one-year full-time behavioral health experience

Completion of background check

CPR and first aid certifications
