Job Title: Mid-Senior Level Civil/ Environmental Engineer

We currently seek a

Mid to Senior Level Civil/ Environmental Engineer

on a direct hire basis within our clients team of industry leaders in the environmental space. The ideal candidate will possess 6 to 12 years of relevant engineering design experience, as well as an understanding of water regulations and related permit requirements. This individual will lead hydrologic and hydraulic evaluations to analyze runoff, evaluate stormwater data, conduct on-site assessments, and develop best management practices in order to reduce pollutants. In addition to providing crucial permitting support and preparing reports/proposals, the Mid to Senior Level Civil/Environmental Engineer will design treatment facilities, pump stations, and conveyance infrastructure.

This position is based out of Folsom, California, however, for the right candidate, there is flexibility to work remotely or in the Bay Area office.

Job Requirements: Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic evaluations for stormwater runoff Design stormwater treatment facilities, pump stations, and conveyance infrastructure Conduct engineering feasibility analyses Participate in research and development of innovative stormwater quality treatment techniques Evaluate stormwater quality data, conduct industrial and construction site assessments, and develop/recommend stormwater best management practices to reduce pollutants in stormwater discharges Prepare stormwater pollution prevention plans, exceedance response action plans, technical reports, and proposals Provide permitting and compliance support to our clients Contribute to a team atmosphere through collaboration with technical experts, project managers, colleagues, and subcontractors

Qualifications: Bachelors degree or higher in engineering; Masters degree is preferred Between 6 and 12 years of relevant experience Understanding of stormwater/wastewater regulations and related permit requirements Engineering design experience Demonstrated critical thinking, data analysis, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and as part of a team Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills Excellent computer skills (MS Office Suite) 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification a plus Valid drivers license and clear driving record Ability to travel domestically Flexibility to work outside normal office work hours, if needed
