The Project Manager plays a key role in that missionensuring each project is set up for success, executed with excellence, and closed out efficiently. ? About the Role The Project Manager (PM) ensures the successful planning, setup, execution, and closeout of commercial construction projects. As a frontline leader, youll bridge field operations, financial performance, and client relationshipsupholding Copperas standards of safety, quality, and communication. Youll be responsible for ensuring job readiness within the first 10 days of award and full project closeout within 30 days of punch list completion. Every project you deliver contributes to Copperas reputation for excellence and long-term growth. ? Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Financial Performance Complete full project setup (budget loading, buyout, schedule, submittals, manpower plan) within 10 days of award. Forecast monthly revenue and costs with 95% accuracy. Manage submittals, RFIs, and change orders promptly and accurately. Review job cost reports weekly and take corrective action as needed. Ensure project closeout packages are submitted within 30 days of punch list completion. Field Coordination & Quality Control Visit each active jobsite weekly and document findings. Partner with QC Manager for pre-punch and final walkthroughs. Conduct weekly coordination meetings with field leads and subcontractors. Enforce safety, cleanliness, and installation standards. Identify and mitigate schedule, manpower, and material risks early. Client Communication & Relationships Serve as the main point of contact for clients and internal teams. Provide proactive updates and resolve issues quickly. Conduct client closeout meetings and gather feedback. Build and maintain strong relationships for repeat business. ? Performance Metrics (KPIs) 100% of projects set up within 10 days of award. 100% of project closeouts completed within 30 days of punch list completion. ?5% variance between projected and actual gross profit. ?90% positive client satisfaction on completed projects. 24-hour maximum response time to client communications. ? Qualifications 5+ years of Project Management experience, preferably in plumbing or commercial construction. Strong understanding of budgets, scheduling, and job cost reporting. Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple projects. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Commitment to safety, quality, and company values.
