Our client, an AMAZING Supply Chain organization is seeking a Director of Supply Chain. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who has helped scale by being a true change agent. In this role, you will develop and manage the people and processes relative to day-to-day Supply Chain and MRO operations for companies 12 locations and a total spend of approximately $500M, including sourcing, supplier management and buying for direct and indirect suppliers in line with companies objectives. The Director of Supply Chain owns the SC Strategic roadmap including but not limited to transformational initiatives, (such as Supplier Council, Strategic Sourcing and Category buying). RESPONSIBLITIES
Sustain and improve the methodology Supply Chain uses to manage Inventory, Turns, SLOB management, Cost reduction and other Strategic sourcing initiatives.
Deploy companies Lean Operating System within the Department.
Transition from BU process driven to owning the development and deployment of Best Practices across the network reducing waste, variation and enabling growth and economies of scale.
Lead the creation and improvement of all Departmental process and Best Practices related to the new ERP System Road map deployment (D365)
Be a key stakeholder in the development of the Digital Transformation particularly in the SC Function.
Deploy MRO best practices across the network.
Launch and manage the companies Supplier Council
Lead and foster strategic sourcing while maintaining a cadence for market evaluation.
Drive supplier optimization across companies supplier base with strategic initiatives like Category Buying
Drive material cost management strategy while improving service levels.
Develop plan for diversification of spend with a plan for growth for 2024 and beyond.
Surpass 98% OTS across the network through end-to-end SC Management processes.
Outperform the cost savings Goals for the Supply Chain and MRO departments.
Actively participate in the development and execution of the Corporate Level Strategic 3-year Plan including annual priorities and quarterly rocks
Own the Departmental KPI scorecard for Supply Chain and MRO. Outperforming Goals and driving CI
Own the collaboration with other departments to enhance Company service offering. Particularly Sales and Supply Chain Center of Excellence.
Oversee projects to maximize value for the investment in the community.
Maintain an active presence in Professional/Industry Association(s), shows, etc.
Promote cross business unit collaboration and resource sharing.
Be present across the network. Visit each regional office regularly to ensure staff is aligned and engagement monthly.
Develop Support DEI Enterprise level Strategy consistent with role and pay equity
REQUIREMENTS
BS Degree, (MS or MBA preferred)
10+ Years in Supply Chain with 5+ years in Management
Multi-site experience
Multi-level Leadership experience
Demonstrated experience leading team of 5+ direct reports and 30+ overall reports.
Demonstrated experience managing upwards of $400MM in spend
Ability to travel 50% or more
Customer and Strategic Supplier Engagement Experience, (MRO a plus)
