**Job Title: Forklift Operator**

**Job Description**

Responsible for ensuring materials are properly received, stored and loaded for production. The role includes maintaining an organized yard area, assisting walk-up customers with loading materials, preparing equipment for plant start-up, operating forklifts for moving and loading masonry products, and performing general housekeeping tasks around the plant and yard. The position also demands maintaining the cleanliness and organization of plant grounds and other duties as directed by the plant manager.

**Work Site**

This is a fully on-site position in Danville, Virginia.

**Work Environment**

Majority of the work is performed outdoors with exposure to weather elements like heat, cold, rain, and dust. The role involves occasional to frequent exposure to rough, icy, or muddy surfaces, high noise levels, vibrations, moving machinery, and potentially hazardous materials such as dust, diesel fuel, and propane. Personal protective equipment is provided as necessary.
