Description of responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout assigned property.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms.
• Clean and disinfect kitchen and dining areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, and pans.
• Wipe and dust surfaces in the office and cleans mirrors.
• Vacuum and clean floors, rugs, furniture, etc.
• Pick up and empty trash containers.
• Notify the manager if something is not working properly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Service, clean, or supply restrooms.
• Gather and remove litter around property.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours or checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
• Mow or trim lawns or shrubbery, using mowers or hand or power trimmers, and clear debris from grounds.
• Make minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing, or electrical systems.
• Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, etc.

• Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders.
• Care for established lawns by weeding, trimming, or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls.
• Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, etc.
• Maintain or repair tools, equipment, or structures, such as buildings, fences, etc. using hand or power tools.
• Plan and lay out repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals.
• Perform general cleaning of buildings or properties.
• Paint or repair windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required experience and skills:

• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Excellent work ethic and time management skills.
• Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
• Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance.
• Ability to keep the building clean and orderly.
• Ability to interact with staff while remaining professional, polite, and courteous.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Perform work outside where you will be exposed to the weather.
