Position: Telecom Project Manager - IoT / 5G

Location: Plano, TX (hybrid)

Project Summary

Our client, a global leader in the design and deployment of IoT solutions across multiple industry verticals is seeking Project Managers to manage all project aspects related to the rollout of a 5G automotive application. They will be interfacing across multiple OEMs for

5G.

Contract Duration: 12 Months+ Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of Project Management experience

  • 1-2 years of Wireless Telecom Project Management experience including experience supporting 4G/5G projects IoT or connected device networks

  • Automotive or Telematics industry experience highly desired

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent presentation skills - both creating and presenting

  • Assertive and self-motivated, able to take minimal project direction and manage all project deliverables in a self-directed manner

  • Advanced MS Office experience particularly with Excel, PowerPoint and Visio

  • Some experience with writing and managing projects per a project plan


What You Will Be Doing

  • Assist program lead with 5G automotive oversight spanning multiple automotive customers, as well as lead deployments needed for industrial customers

  • Help lead governance board by tracking and following thru on change requests to ensure approvals are obtained and work is delivered/testing as agreed to (spans across multiple customers and internal cross-functional organizations)

  • Strong communication and leadership skills as well as being comfortable interfacing with customers daily are a must

  • Ability to establish and foster working relationships with multiple organizations in order to keep the business needs aligned and avoid conflicts in deployments across the programs

  • Managing the project plan within their region of the country
