The Electrical Project Manageris responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing projects, while keeping the project on schedule, within budget and to the satisfaction of the stakeholders. They also have to manage the project team, communication and risks. Estimate Project Value Ranges: $800,000 to $5,000,000.

Established in 1981, my client is a full-service electrical contractor, specializing in design-build electrical construction and electrical maintenance services. Their history of success spans more than 100 major design-build projects, with contracts ranging from $50,000 to over $10,000,000.

Description

As an Electrical Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical construction projects from initiation to completion. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, engineers, and vendors, to ensure successful project execution. Your primary focus will be on planning, organizing, and coordinating all electrical aspects of construction projects so that it comes in on time and on budget. While ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and quality standards.

Profile

  • Minimum of 7 years of Project Management experience with Commercial, Medical, and Industrial projects over $800,000
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Certifications Preferred or be willing to take: PMI Project Management Ready, CAPM - Certified Associate in Project Management, PMP - Project Management Professional
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource management
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficient in project management software and tools
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
