Job Description

This role is primarily responsible for designing load-bearing structures, structural elements, or structural systems for a variety of project types in industries such as manufacturing, distribution, data centers, commercial, historical, public sector, adaptive reuse, and renovations. The growth path for this role could consist of a experienced Engineer or Management role with increased levels of exposure and responsibility over time.

Responsibilities:

- Manage existing client relationships and lead client meetings and presentations; serve as organizational or project liaison in architect and contractor meetings.

- Apply deep knowledge and advanced skill in areas of practice.

- Engage with potential clients to expand business relationships.

- Secure new work from existing clients in various markets.

- Develop cost-effective solutions to offer clients.

- Participate in fee-based proposal development.

- Participate in RFI responses.

- Perform and/or oversee existing facility analysis and site reviews.

- Prepare design calculations and oversee the preparation of construction documents, reviewing BIM and AutoCAD renderings, and submittals.

- Coordinate information across all disciplines to ensure deliverables are compliant with client expectations and established organizational quality standards.

- May serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) for projects designed by you.
