General Summary:

Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots various types of server and network environments. Assists in recommending and implementing new servers, network installations, upgrades, patches, along with new applications and equipment. This individual shall work in conjunction with the sales team to perform site walkthroughs and consultations as needed. Provides technical support and guidance to internal and end users. Addresses trouble tickets and work orders to the satisfaction of the client.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Administration of various network operating systems as required
  • Assist with LAN/WAN design and management
  • Assist with rollout new network installations including, but not limited to, infrastructure, hardware, servers, and end user equipment
  • Provides direction to Network Technician as needed
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and install Windows Server and Hyper-V/VMware/HCI environments
  • Maintain Active Directory, Group Policies and provide customer guidance to Windows server management needs
  • Participate in customer consultations and walkthroughs as needed
  • Recommended solutions to clients and sales account executives as required
  • Maintain excellent rapport with assigned customer contacts while providing guidance to improve their computing and networking systems
  • Manage workload, service call closure and timesheet on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of structured cabling and technology solutions industry
  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
  • Knowledge in using network equipment such as cisco routers and ASA's, servers, switches, personal computers, subscriber gateway equipment, and PBX systems
  • Advance knowledge of company products and services
  • Advance knowledge of basis networking concepts and topology
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN design
  • Knowledge in server configuration and maintenance.
  • Advanced skill in installing, repairing, and maintaining network equipment.
  • Skill in using mechanical and electric power tools.
  • Advanced skill in analytical thinking and problem solving while paying attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as schematics, blueprints, and circuit diagrams.
  • Ability to evaluate, test and repair sophisticated equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions using information at hand.
  • Ability to effectively function as a team player.
Certifications:
  • Minimum 2 Industry standard expert certifications related to advanced network/wireless design or administration with a technical understanding off all service offerings from Endeavor IT
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or Advanced degree in telecommunications, or equivalent industry require
  • Specialized training in data network with at least 2 industry recognized IT certifications CCNA, CCNP, or CCSP preferred, or 7+ years' experience with supporting networking systems and Active Directory environments.
