Responsibilities:

As a Senior Cost Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Analyzing and auditing financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards and internal policies. 2. Developing and maintaining cost accounting systems, procedures, and controls. 3. Conducting regular physical inventories and monitoring cycle count program. 4. Preparing detailed financial reports, including periodic cost reports, budget variance analysis, and cost trends. 5. Collaborating with various departments to forecast future costs and to devise strategic plans based on financial analysis. 6. Reviewing and reconciling general ledger entries and correcting any discrepancies. 7. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. 8. Providing cost accounting expertise to team members and stakeholders as needed. 9. Ensuring all financial operations comply with federal and state laws and regulations. 10. Participating in the continuous improvement of cost accounting operations, systems, and processes.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Cost Accountant position will possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus. 2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in the marketing industry. 3. Proficiency in cost accounting systems, general ledger functions, and financial reporting. 4. Strong technical accounting skills and a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. 5. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail. 6. Strong analytical abilities and experience in financial analysis. 7. Fluent in Spanish, both written and spoken. 8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. 9. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. 10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.
