Job Summary
The role of Accountant III will actively perform and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. This would include posting cash receipts and entering checks approved for payment. Perform all monthly write-offs of accounts receivable research for any short pays or billing rate changes for any employees. Reconcile bank account daily, including clearing all cleared checks and deposits in QuickBooks. Provide weekly cash updates and provide upcoming cash flow schedules.
Job Details
· Perform all payroll functions and audit and approve payroll. Work with Payroll Solutions and run reports.
· Prepare depreciation and amortization schedules for new assets and loan schedules.
· Work with the CPA on filing taxes and setting up payroll for any state or localities.
· Prepare workers comp audit reports for the Department of Labor and other regulatory agency requests.
· Review coding of all transactions for accuracy, provide monthly P&Ls, reconcile Balance Sheet monthly, and prepare month-end cash flow schedule and upcoming cash flow projections.
· Manage and reconcile all bank, loan, and credit card statements monthly and oversee any of these functions.
· Prepare any collateral reports to the banks for any existing loans.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Certified Public Accountant/CPA
· Years of experience, 4-7 years
