Receptionist

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Greets members in a friendly, courteous and professional manner and direct to appropriate staff
- Answers incoming telephone calls, determines needs and directs the caller to the appropriate person or department
- Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable
- Answers questions about the organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information
- Welcomes visitors, determines nature of business, maintains Visitor Log and badges, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel; monitors visitor access
- Notarizes documents according to policy
- Maintains the member coffee and water station, ensuring supplies are stocked
- Maintains pamphlet/information racks in lobby; assists in keeping lobby in a neat and orderly appearance
- Prepares materials for Business Development and ALEC Investment Advisors (AIA)
- Reviews membership applications and forms and submit for imaging
- Prepares disclosures for new account openings
- Maintains professionalism while conducting business with members and vendors
- Other duties as may be assigned
- Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent, obtain Notary Public Commission Certificate within six (6) months of hire and during required renewal periods
- Experience Required: One (1) year of office or administrative experience
- Experience Preferred: Two (2) years of office or administrative experience
