Description

The Treasury Management Deposit Officer is responsible for developing new Deposit and Treasury Management business relationship for specific target markets of small to medium size businesses.

  • Develop and execute Deposit and Treasury Management Sales and Prospecting Plan
  • Acquire and develop new deposits and Treasury Management solutions in specific bank regions and industry verticals
  • Establish relationships with referral sources and centers of influence to market deposit and Treasury Management services
  • Works independently and with team members on prospecting efforts and expansion of business relationships; generates cross-sell opportunities and referrals
  • Requires in depth knowledge of the bank's requirements and account opening processes for business customers
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the bank's deposit and Treasury Management products and services, appropriately identify solutions based on customer need
  • Manages entire sales process including developing and writing proposals, making customer presentations and executing customer agreements
  • Requires work on physical bank premises and extensive local travel

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of business development, deposit gathering and Treasury Management Services
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational/work experience

Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Word; basic keyboarding and calculator skills' must be able to do simple math and carry out written instructions
  • Working conditions are generally favorable
  • Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential functions of the position
  • Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30lbs
