Responsibilities

•Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure the restaurant/lounge/cafe is set up and inviting before opening
•Maintain cleanliness and attractiveness throughout service, including cleaning floors, tables, buffet area, and other tasks
•Act as both a host and a server by serving water, suggesting food and beverage items, and providing personalized service
•Demonstrate strong knowledge of menu items and beverages to offer informed recommendations and enhance the dining experience
•Handle payments accurately and efficiently, prioritizing safety and security by adhering to the hotel's protocols
•Be vigilant for potential issues and promptly escalate any concerns to management

Qualifications

•Must be available to work weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule
•Proficiency in understanding the steps of service is required
•Attention to detail is essential to ensure guests feel welcomed and valued
•Ability to cater to guests' needs attentively
•Willingness to support fellow associates when required
•Previous experience in handling cash transactions is preferred
•A high school education or equivalent is preferred and at least one year of progressive experience in food & beverage is required as is a ServSafe or Tips certification
•Physical requirements include the ability to work long hours, as needed. Medium workExerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Possesses the ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body and arms, and work under variable temperatures and noise levels
•Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range. Ability to stand and walk for long periods without sitting or leaning
•Must possess fluency in English, be able to work in stressful, high-pressure situations, and must possess the ability to multi-task regularly
