The head of accounting for the Company. Responsible for accounting practices, financial controls (budgets), cost, and general accounting for the Company.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead monthly & annual financial close
  • Review and approval of monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation and review of monthly financial statements
  • Preparation of monthly forecasts and annual budget
  • Preparation of monthly reports required for corporate reporting
  • Coordinate and lead annual audit
  • Review and maintain appropriate financial controls within the company
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for accounting functions
  • ERP optimization and improvements
  • Oversee IT and purchasing departments
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting for management as required.
  • Adhere to established company values, practices, policies and procedures always. Follow and support compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations, and standards.
Education / Experience / Certifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
  • 3+ years of related work experience in manufacturing preferred
  • Workflow implementation/experience preferred
  • ERP experience
  • Expensify experience preferred
