These systems are essential for casino operations. This position works in a fast-paced, rapidly changing industry, and requires strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, strong critical thinking, complex problem solving, appropriate judgment, and decision-making skills. Responsibilities: The Cyber Security Analyst investigates, analyzes, and responds to cyber incidents within several network environments throughout the organization. Additionally, the candidate for this position: Uses data collected from a variety of cyber/network security tools (e.g., IDS alerts, firewalls, antivirus logs.) to analyze events that occur within each network environment for the purposes of mitigating threats. Interprets, analyzes, and reports all events and anomalies in accordance with computer network directives, including initiating, responding, and reporting discovered events. Involved with third-party penetration tests, phishing campaigns, and other cyber-related training. Ensures that cybersecurity plans, controls, processes, standards, policies, and procedures are aligned with cybersecurity standards. Identifies security risks and exposures, and also suggests how to mitigate. Provides recommendations on how to improve the network security posture within each site. Assist in ensuring all casinos remain compliant in the cybersecurity realm for various audits. Reports directly to the Corporate IT Security Manager. May provide guidance to less-experienced professionals within the organization. Qualifications: BA/BS or equivalent, 2+ years of experience.
