Rooftop Lounge Server

The Rooftop Lounge Server willrespond to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction
ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide Food and Beverage service to the guests
- Ensuring the pool, furniture and facilities are clean and safe
- Setting up umbrellas, loungers and sun beds
- Welcoming guests, providing them with towels, shade, refreshments
- Attending to all guest requests
- Appropriately organize the towels in the huts and pit as needed
- Organize towel racks and box
- Monitoring the activity of guests, clearing used towels, glasses and trash throughout the day
- Monitor the cleanliness of the deck space
- Communicate with Food and Beverage Department to ensure guests have their needs met
- Enforcing safety protocols
- CPR and First Aid may be required
- Reporting any damages or incidents to leadership
- Protects ownership investment on all cabanas, furniture and equipment
- Ensures proper music genre and volume playing
- Maintain the lounge chairs, towel huts/bins and equipment with weekly cleaning
- Maintain the cleanliness of the pool decks by performing hourly pool sweeps

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
* One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
* Ability to write simple correspondence.
* Ability to speak English fluently.
* Ability to interpret and perform basic computer and POS system functions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment entails the following:
* Outdoor work environment
* May be exposed to and use of cleaning chemicals throughout the shift
* Minimal to moderate noise levels consistent with hotel environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
During the course of performing the physical demands of this position, associates are expected to observe and adhere to safety and security procedures, promoting a safe work environment.
The physical activity normally entails the following attributes.
Position is expected to:
* Stands/walks more than 2/3 of the time
* Sit less than 1/3 of the time
* Lift up to 25 lbs
* Push / pull up to 45 pounds
$15.27/hr + Tips
