About The Career: The CMO plays a key role in building and maintaining relationships between the management of Montrose Regional Health and its Medical Staff. The CMO collaborates with Administration and leads clinical and quality initiatives that support effective and efficient clinical performance and practice standards at Montrose Regional Health. All About You: Education: MD or DO degree, completed residency training in a recognized specialty, current or past board certification in the specialty of training, and a management degree or equivalent experience. Training & Experience: Current and clear medical licensure in the state of Colorado. 10 years of clinical experience. Job Knowledge: Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven leadership skills and accomplishments. Knowledge of hospital structure, operations, and infrastructure of quality and utilization. Expertise with medical staff processes, policies, procedures, and Joint Commission accreditation. Experience in managing, developing, and mentoring practitioners. Knowledge of and experience with practitioner education and training programs. Highly motivated in quality improvement and clinical transformation, with proven expertise in multiple aspects of healthcare such as quality assessment, peer review, delineation of clinical privileges, outcomes research, clinical profiling, evidence-based medicine, and service quality.
