Wyoming Farm Manager

Seeking a farm manager for a large alfalfa hay and silage production farm in Fremont County, WY. Must have a working knowledge of John Deer tractors, swathers, baler, GPS navigation and Haybuster mixer/feeders. Knowledge of silage and hay production and storage is essential. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of center pivot irrigation and maintenance, fertilizer injection systems, and FieldWise/Reincloud operation. The farm manager will have an in-depth knowledge of field preparation, seeding, fertilizers, weed control, and herbicide application. Strong knowledge of equipment repair and maintenance and the ability to develop a maintenance schedule fore all equipment, implements, and vehicles is a must. Computer and communication skills are required for this position. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, self-starting individual to excel in agriculture. All equipment and infrastructure on the farm is new and well maintained. This position offers excellent pay, health insurance, 401K, housing, and vacation time.
