Seasonal ICU Registered Nurse Opportunity Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment, collaborating with healthcare teams to execute patient plans of care and direct non-licensed personnel. Job Description: As a Seasonal ICU Registered Nurse, you will perform patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient responses. You will also direct and monitor care delegated to non-licensed personnel, administer medications, and complete treatments according to hospital policy. Responsibilities: Perform patient assessments at admission and regularly evaluate patient responses to treatment Develop and implement care plans, including discharge plans, and revise plans as needed Document patient outcomes and nursing interventions Provide educational materials to patients and families on care and treatments Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy Direct and monitor care delegated to non-licensed personnel Requirements: 1 year experience in a Staff Registered Nurse (RN) role Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited Nursing program Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 12 months of hire About St. David's North Austin Medical Center: St. David's North Austin Medical Center is a multi-specialty hospital in Texas with over 360 beds.
