Are you a dedicated individual who would like to be a proactive advocate for victims of domestic violence? Two positions available, p lease apply for either shift Monday -Friday 2:00PM – 10:00PM or Monday -Friday 3:30PM -11:30PM Position is eligible for a $1250 sign on bonus Responsibilities: Provide victim-centered, trauma-informed case management services to victims and their children. Assist with day-to-day operations of the program. Answer phones and text messages received through the NYS Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Hotline, NYS PREA Hotline, and the Unity House Domestic Violence Hotlines. Provide crisis intervention and advocacy based on victim needs. Promote a work culture of inclusion and belonging. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required. At 3 or more years' experience working with victims of domestic violence or a similar population acceptable. Associate's degree or higher in related field with experience working with domestic violence victims preferred. Advance level of counseling experience or experience in or education in criminal justice/court practices preferred. Strong computer and documentation skills. Valid New York State Driver License. Reliable transportation required.
