Major Hospital in Shelbyville, Indiana, is seeking a Surgical Pathologist to join our team. We are a progressive health care organization that is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients. We are looking for a physician who shares our values and is passionate about providing excellent patient care.
•Full-time
•Solo practice
•Flexible Monday to Friday schedule to cover cases generated throughout hospital system
•No call
•Total surgical case volume of 5,500per year
•Must be BC/BE
•Serve as Medical Director of hospital-based laboratory
•Regular performance of pathological analysis of submitted specimens, including frozen section and FNA interpretation
•Will work closely with Director of Laboratory Services, an experienced Medical Technologist
•CLIA Certified Laboratory
•Meditech Expanse EMR
