Primary Responsibilities include:
Django development for both client and internal projects
UX knowledge understanding end user
Meeting deadlines and proper goal setting
Input into scheduling and resource needs for the project
Attend estimating & bidding meetings as needed
Work both as a team member and leader, depending on the project
Qualifications and skills:
2-4 years previous Django development experience
Python expertise
Experience with Postgres and No-SQL DBs
Experience with writing deployment automation scripting
Experience with Object Oriented Programming & appropriate Design Patterns
Scrum and Waterfall workflow knowledge
Accuracy and attention to detail
Professional written and oral communication skills
Strong ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and under deadlines
Resourceful problem solver
Positive attitude and open, respectful communication
Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
An eagerness to learn and overcome challenges
Must be discreet at backCODE works on high profile entertainment, education and defenseprojects
Bonus:
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Experience working in a non-disclosure environment
Experience in leadership role, mentoring junior developers and leading teams
Position: Freelance Work Schedule: Full-time Remote: No Relocation: No Salary: market
