Sales Associate

Midwest RegionReporting to the VP of Sales, the purpose of this role is to provide best-in-class sales execution in order to secure sales for the company s dietary fiber products in 2025. An ideal candidate is one who has: 1) extensive experience developing and securing key customers in health food or broader CPG food industry, 2) moving key customers through the sales pipelines to close sales and 3) knowledge of the food ingredient space, including the insights and trends driving consumer demand. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of profitability positioning and selling products into relevant markets, as well as fostering relations with Nutrition Ingredients company s key customers.WHO WE ARENutrition Ingredients company is a transformational brand founded by a group of visionaries who approach problems differently. Individuals who thrive at Nutrition Ingredient company are eager to learn and grow their skills through interacting with all levels of management.WHAT YOU WILL DODevelop a thorough understanding of Nutrition Ingredients company s product offeringsDrive sales through target and key accountsBuild relationships with customers to position company s ingredients to serve nutritional, sustainability and formulation needs of customers in food marketsManage the entire customer acquisition pipeline from lead qualification through to purchase orders and customer satisfaction / retentionMeet sales and margin targets, including negotiating key terms of customer agreements such as pricing, volume commitments and other termsCollaborate cross-functionally (product develop, supply chain, marketing, and customer care) to ensure customer satisfactionWork closely with Marketing and R&D to bring new product ideas and concepts from and to the marketPlay the leading role in resolving important customer issuesProvide voice of the customer insight to entire organizationWHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFULA minimum of 3 years of successful specialty ingredient sales into food, beverage or supplement companiesA history of exceptional customer relationships, with many still currentA proven ability to convert new sales opportunitiesA track record of developing and implementing successful solution selling with customersExperience working closely with key customers in designing and producing product initiatives that worked for both partiesA Bachelor s degree, with an MBA being a plusExceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsHighly organized, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneouslySolid working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and CRM systems (company uses Hubspot)Hands-on,
