Job Summary Analyzes and assesses vulnerabilities in the infrastructure (software, hardware, networks), investigates available tools and countermeasures to remedy the detected vulnerabilities, and recommends solutions and best practices. Analyzes and assesses damage to the data/infrastructure as a result of security incidents, examines available recovery tools and processes, and recommends solutions. Tests for compliance with security policies and procedures. May assist in the creation, implementation, and/or management of security solutions. Researches, recommends, and performs upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment for company cyber security hardware and appliances. Responsibilities include disaster recovery, networks audits and assisting in identifying, reporting, and resolving security violations. Essential Functions

: Design, implement, and operate security measures which protect information systems and infrastructure including such things as firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption. Work with the Technology team to perform tests and detect system weaknesses. Create and implement a plan of action to mitigate risk and maintain a high security standard. Perform security gap assessments, research security enhancements, performs vulnerability analysis of networks systems, monitor security trends, and make recommendations to Technology management. Support tuning of cybersecurity tools and proactive threat-hunting. knowledge of network address translation, packet analysis, TCP three-way handshake, IPV6, IPV4, TCP-IP and UDP. Perform SIEM investigations, analyze security logs, monitoring logs, firewall logs, intrusion prevention system logs, and network and correlate logs using numerous database query techniques and tools. Analyzes network and recommends upgrades/changes. Assesses organizations current and future network and security needs. Evaluates new information systems products or services and suggests changes to existing products or services. Provides input and updates to the CMMC\NIST-800-171, Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M), System Security Plans, Incident Response plans and compliance requirements. Provides technical support and guidance to end users as needed. Performance of other duties as assigned. Additional Responsibilities

: Manages Vendors and Consultants for maintenance and network issues. Performs other related tasks as required and assigned. NIST-800-171 and CMMC 2.0 familiarization and project tracking. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or 6 years equivalent experience Knowledge of NIST 800-171 compliance requirements, with the ability to identify gaps and recommend relevant solutions. 4 years ‘experience in corporate LAN's, WAN's, network, and security environments. Have knowledge of cyber threats, tools, techniques, and processes Advanced technical computers skills as required for technical support specific to functional area and related systems. TCP IP, DHCP, LAN, VoIP, wireless deployment, and VPN.
