Inventory Control Analyst

Overview:
Monitors and maintains accuracy of plant inventories of WIP, Finished Goods and Components.
Responsibilities:- Responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity within the facility.
- Maximize space utilization, monitor inventory levels and product movement.
- Perform counts and ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy.
- Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventories
- Implement and review inventory cycle counts on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in accuracy.
- Command and supervise the cycle counters from the plant to perform the daily counting schedule per the needs of the planning.
- Drive the adjustments to be reviewed and completed by Finance based on the findings from the cycle counts.
- Review and assist in invoice and receipt corrections for all inbound material both physically and on SAP, as well as making sure all outbounds are also written off correctly from our systems.
- Prepare source data for plant by compiling and organizing data; establish priorities; resolve incomplete and unclear data.
- Complete data management by resolving issues and troubleshooting problems.
- Monitor and solve any issues related to inventories and ticketing problems that deviate the physical inventory to match our system inventories.
- Accomplish department and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Prepare all reporting systems for yearend close related to inventories.
- Provide IT support related to SAP. Provide consult on SAP systems for training and problem solving.
- Prepare/create spreadsheet directly out of SAP.
- Constantly revise the layout for continuing improving the plant flow in line with the plant operations planning.
- Knowledge of SAP
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Access)
- Data Entry Management, Data Entry Skills, Detail Oriented, Supervision, Training Management, Decision Making, Problem Solving, Deadline-Oriented, Initiative, Motivating Others, Results Driven
- Good people skills to interface up and down the organization
- High School Diploma or GED; a minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing is preferred
- Strong computer skills
- Ability and interest to understand processes, interpret data, analyze cause and effect, apply knowledge to new situations, and learn continuously
