Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of building products and the construction industry Experience in bookkeeping and Accounts Receivable Proven ability in collections processes Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word Experience with Sage 300 is an advantage Summary: The Accounts Receivable/Customer Service Specialist will manage all aspects of Accounts Receivable, from order entry to invoicing, maintaining customer records, and ensuring timely collections. The Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team, reviewing sales orders, and processing necessary credit applications, ensuring that all orders are accurate and handled efficiently. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Providing vital support to the outside sales team Preparing and processing sales orders Coordinating with the Purchasing Manager and Dispatcher on material needs and delivery timelines Engaging with customers daily to provide updates on orders and deliveries Resolving customer inquiries and issues promptly Handling daily invoicing and bank deposits Managing Accounts Receivable collections Skills: Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable and collections Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on accuracy Prior experience with building or masonry materials is essential Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment Technical proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Key Competencies: Customer Service adept in handling challenging situations with customers Teamwork promotes a positive team spirit Judgment demonstrates sound decision-making skills Planning/Organizing efficiently utilizes time Adaptability flexible in response to changing work conditions Attendance/Punctuality consistently arrives on time Dependability follows directions and responds well to feedback Initiative proactive in seeking assistance when needed Benefits: 401(k) with a 3% Safe Harbor Contribution Fully company-paid Health Insurance for employees Comprehensive Dental Insurance for employees and their dependents Vision Insurance at no cost for the employee and their family Paid Holidays Paid Time Off for vacation and sick leave This permanent, full-time position operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with Friday hours from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. recblid 3dbtmqismob8je2qyrlu0sdk7axzz4 PDN-a09e4f25-c80a-47ac-be7d-a57751f0b781
