We are looking for a Lead Custodian (7:30am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday) to join our team and play an essential role keeping our building looking top rate to employees and customers that visit. You will be responsible for the daily cleaning/sanitation in the assigned area. What You'll Do: Sweep / vacuum floors in the assigned area. Mop floors in assigned area. Provide custodial coverage when short staffed. Other duties as assigned Dispose of the daily trash in the assigned area. Wipe down hand rails in assigned area. Clean rest rooms. Scrub walls in assigned area. Will be trained by Sensient to operate a scissor lift. Operate an electric floor scrubber, lift pallets, push trash container, wiping, vacuuming, hosing and sweeping. Work with the Sanitation Supervisor to coordinate custodial coverage of all production and warehouse areas. Work with the Sanitation Supervisor and Custodians to optimize the effectiveness of cleaning activities. What You'll Bring: The ability to read and write, drive electric floor scrubber, lift pallets, push trash container, wiping, vacuuming, hosing and sweeping. The ability to work indoors/outdoors, hot, cold, noisy, exposure to color dust. Requires standing on metal grating, concrete and ladders.
