The structure of the function is changing and they now seek to welcome no less than three new colleagues to their team. Nobody has left the business or the department, they’re all brand new roles that have been created off the back of internal promotions and to facilitate continued growth. Aged Debtor and Finance Analyst: An interesting and far-reaching new role within the business where the successful candidate will essentially manage the aged debtor function, liaising with corporate and intercompany clients regarding overdue invoices, reducing the aged debt book and recording collection progress. The successful candidate will liaise with colleagues in multiple areas of the business and support other members of the finance team. Key responsibilities include: Collate weekly and monthly reports detailing the collection history and general debt activity Take ownership of new client credit accounts, performing credit checks and setting credit limits Manage reconciliations Aged debtor analysis Manage debt escalation through contact with the legal team For this role, we’re looking for a Credit Controller or Credit Manager with a strong ability to analyse aged debtor reports. This is not a typical Credit Control position that requires persistent chasing; the successful candidate will be regularly recovering debts from other group companies. The successful candidate should possess good MS Excel skills and a strong aptitude for grasping modern accounting ERPs (the company currently utilises MS Dynamics AX). Strong technical accounting skills are obviously a given, and our client has made strong emphasis on the importance of personable and team-working qualities. The role works within a highly efficient, friendly, and motivated team in a business where finance is respected and regularly consulted by colleagues in all areas of the business.
