How you make a difference:

The Nursing Assistant works directly under the supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON) and collaborates with the nurse management team to ensure the timely completion of various support tasks. These tasks encompass activities like handling consents, authorizations, and appointment scheduling, compiling incident reports, tracking and completing daily nursing duties, conducting audits, and reviewing medical records. The position also involves assisting with data entry, managing nursing supplies, maintaining departmental organization, and adhering to agency policies, Title IX, CARF, and employee handbook guidelines while ensuring strict compliance with federal regulations on client confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitors and tracks client progress according to treatment plans.
Ensures the safety and security of the treatment environment, taking proactive measures to safeguard clients.
Maintains accurate and detailed records of client care, ensuring timely and precise documentation of daily and weekly client progress.
Assists in maintaining compliance with clinical record-keeping and documentation standards.
Supports regulatory compliance, addresses deviations from established documentation and care standards, and assists with admissions and discharges.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education

  • Completion of a nursing program (PT, PN, VN) or a Bachelors degree from an accredited university preferred.

Experience

  • Four (4) years of experience in a healthcare environment to include a minimum of two (2) years as C.N.A. or C.M.A.
