Our manufacturing client in North Charlotte is seeking a Director of Finance to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will be responsible for all North America financials, leading efficiency programs and communicating thoroughly with leadership.

Daily Duties Include:
Oversee the financial status of the company and its compliance with laws, regulations, and ethics
Report to the President and the group headquarter on deviations from budget, highlight potential risks, and raise flags on cash flow issues
Works in close partnership with the US management team members and Finance team in HQ in order to achieve the group's goals
Lead efficiency programs in the company, and verify the enforcement of company policies
Be the POC for legal matters, and work closely with the companys legal team in resolving, securing and maintain low risk legal environment
Manage the companys assets, including funds, employees benefit programs and physical assets
Audit biweekly payroll reports and confirm accuracy of federal, quarterly and YE tax reports filed by payroll company
Provide financial analysis as needed, for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations, etc. Report on significant deviations from budget, noted trends and pricing issues to the president
Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings including NEXUS reporting requirements
Develop financial and tax strategies to limit tax exposure
Manage the capital request and budgeting processes from headquarters and Local needs
Support growth related to Strategic Plans with positive input, potential strategies and needs

Requirements:
CPA is required, Bachelors in Accounting
Experience of

US GAAP or/and IFRS
Management Experience of a team of 3+
Deep knowledge of

Excel

and proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint
5-7 yrs of related experience

Blend of public and private preferred
10% travel required, must have passport for occasional international travel
Experience leading a finance division at a company 25-50 mil in revenue
