Job Summary:

The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for managing the execution of marketing projects, ensuring that tasks are assigned, deadlines are met, and projects are executed efficiently. This role involves coordinating with various teams, managing timelines, and optimizing processes to ensure projects are delivered on time. The job incumbent will not have direct reports but will be required to assign projects/tasks as well as hold team members accountable to their deadlines. The Marketing Project Manager will play a pivotal role in orchestrating the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with stakeholder visions and organizational goals.

Essential Functions: Duties and Responsibilities

Manage Marketing Requests

Manage incoming marketing requests from cross functional teams (sales, operations, HR, etc). Assess project scope, gather information from stakeholders, communicate requirements to the marketing team, and delegate tasks across marketing functions to ensure efficiency.
Act as a central point of contact for project stakeholders.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines.
Work with marketing team to develop simple project plans, including task assignment, deadlines, and resource allocation.
Assign tasks to appropriate team members based on skills and workload.
Monitor the progress of marketing projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope.
Follow up with team members to ensure tasks are completed according to the project schedule.
Allocate resources and manage workload distribution to optimize team productivity.

Integrated Campaign Management

Own key integrated strategic campaigns from concept to completion, working with key cross-functional and sales stakeholders.
Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring cohesive messaging and brand consistency to effectively reach target audiences and achieve project objectives.

Process Optimization

Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes.
Implement or enhance tools and methodologies to streamline workflow and enhance efficiency.

Communication

Facilitate communication between different teams and departments.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and potential challenges.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with project management tools and software.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in project management, particularly in a marketing environment.
Knowledge of marketing strategies and campaigns. Salesforce and HubSpot preferred.
Experience in optimizing workflow and processes - knowledge of JIRA preferred.
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with an office position that involves standing, sitting, reaching, manual dexterity to operate office machines, stooping, bending to handle files and supplies, and mobility to complete errands or deliveries
May work at computer monitors for prolonged periods with danger of eye strain and muscle pain
