EnviroServe has a national footprint with 38 operations including 10-day waste handling facilities, waste solidification and processing facilities and field service operations. Position Performance Needs Reporting directly to the COO, the Fleet Director is responsible for the management of EnviroServe’s fleet from acquisition through disposition. The Fleet Manager will play a crucial role in optimizing fleet performance, minimizing downtime, and supporting the service delivery to Customers. The individual is responsible for leadership and sound management as an active contributor to the EnviroServe team. It is expected that this individual will acquire an intimate understanding of the operational dynamics and business operations of EnviroServe and work closely with the company’s senior leadership.

The Fleet Director is directly accountable for the following activities Fleet Acquisition Evaluate, recommend, and coordinate the acquisition of specialized equipment in line with the company's operational requirements and budget constraints. Collaborate with Director of Sourcing to support negotiation of procurement contracts to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisitions. Maintenance and Repairs Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to maximize the reliability and longevity of fleet assets. Lead a team of regional maintenance managers, who focus on the appropriate maintenance of all company fleet assets. Coordinate with maintenance teams to promptly address equipment breakdowns, minimize downtime, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. Lifecycle Management Establish and maintain accurate records for each piece of equipment, tracking usage, maintenance history, and other relevant data throughout its lifecycle. Evaluate the economic viability of equipment upgrades, replacements, or disposals and make recommendations based on thorough analysis. Regulatory Compliance Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards related to fleet management, ensuring the company's fleet operations adhere to all relevant legal and environmental requirements. Implement and monitor safety protocols to promote a secure working environment for equipment operators and maintenance personnel. Budget Management Collaborate with finance and operations teams to develop and manage the fleet budget, including forecasting and cost control measures. Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising the efficiency or safety of fleet operations. Reporting and Analysis Generate regular reports on fleet performance, maintenance costs, and other key performance indicators. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimizing fleet operations. Disposal and Remarketing Develop and execute strategies for the responsible disposal or remarketing of retired equipment, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and maximizing residual value. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, engineering or alternative related fields typically required.

Exceptions may be considered based on relevant work experience Proven experience in fleet management, preferably in an environmental services or similar industry. Strong knowledge of specialized equipment used in environmental services. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards. Effective communication and leadership skills. Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Physical Requirements Able to work in an office setting with exposure to common office equipment and chemicals; must be able to sit for extended periods of time While in the field, this position will climbstairs and ladders; work at heights Walk and stand for extended periods of time on hard and/or uneven surfaces Be exposed to loud noises, chemicals and hazardous materials, fumes, dust, bright lights, moisture, and other extreme environmental conditions Be exposed to dangerous equipment and conditions Be outside in the weather, including heat, cold, wind, rain and snow Work in enclosed, small or cramped areas Must be able and willing to wear proper personal protective equipment as environmentand location dictate; this may include a proper seal on a mask fit Must have the abilityand willingness to perform the essential physical functions of the position Travel frequently to operations and vendor sites

including air travel, with frequent multi-night stays
