You will get the opportunity to work with your hands... so this is ideal for those who are mechanically mindedJob Duties:Sell services and products within assigned territory, maintaining assigned sales/service quota and following established guidelines.Inspect, service, install fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, and exit/emergency lighting.Identify prospects utilizing creative lead generating techniques.Present sales presentation and proposal to prospects, identifying positive features and advantages of our products and services over those of the competition.Follow up with prospects.Process work orders and complete all paperwork in accordance with approved and standardized procedures.Service existing book of business and new customers.Core Competencies:Proficient computer skills in Windows based software and MS office 2000 or higherHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to multi-task and prioritizeGood organizational skillsMust have valid driver's license and a good driving record that meets company requirementsStrong analytical and mechanical aptitudeExcellent interpersonal skillsMust possess strong communication, negotiating, and time management skillsFlexible Style; perseverance; action oriented; interpersonal savvyAptitude for problem solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach); customer focusedAbility to work a full time scheduleAmbitious results oriented individual with entrepreneurial drivePhysical Requirements & Exposures:Must be in good physical condition with no limitationsMust be willing to work outdoors in inclement weatherMust be able to lift a minimum of 75 poundsMust be able to carry 50 pounds repeatedlyMust be able to push greater than 100 pounds as neededMust be able to pull greater than 100 pounds as neededMust be able to safely climb a ladder and reach a height of at least 12 ft.This position may require the handling of chemicals that may be skin and/or respiratory irritants. Person may also be exposed to ventilation areas which may have respiratory irritant. Must not be skin and respiratory sensitive to these materials and environments.
