Packaging Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of robotic solutions for various packaging processes, including visual inspection and loading/unloading tasks. Mission: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for automation and robotization in packaging processes. Assist in the introduction of new products and the integration of robotic solutions into existing production lines. Develop technical solutions for packaging challenges, including the creation of pallet layouts and inspection systems. Work closely with suppliers to communicate technical requirements and refine machine specifications. Prepare project documentation, including User Requirement Specifications (URS) and budget proposals. Support the implementation of Automated Visual Inspection (AVI) systems and loading/unloading processes. Ensure compliance with project timelines and budget constraints. Provide technical expertise and support to clients and stakeholders across multiple sites. Profile Requirement: Engineering profil or related field. Previous experience in packaging engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with robotics, automation, and visual inspection systems. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English and French. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. Experience with project management and budgeting is a plus. Knowledge of software tools for creating technical documentation is desirable.
