Specific Job Functions:

  • Measure and fit uniforms for employees in uniformed departments
  • Ability to modify / design clothing / uniforms
  • Label uniforms with ID tags
  • Operate conveyor system that delivers uniforms and locker bag for the employee, heat seal machine to tag uniforms with bar codes and employee information label and label printer to create the employee information label
  • Process new hires
  • Educate new hires on cleaning and maintenance of uniforms
  • Maintain uniform inventory at par levels
  • Keep work area clean at all times
  • Press uniforms as well as guest's personal garments
  • Maintain the integrity of the uniform program according to set CC standards
  • Utilize sewing machine, iron and other equipment used to maintain garments
  • Perform all duties deemed necessary for the success of the department
Qualifications:
  • Communicate effectively in English both in verbal and written form.
  • Excellent customer service skills a must.
  • Six months prior Uniform Room experience preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual a plus.
  • Professional appearance a must.
  • Possess basic computer skills.
  • Ability to operate hand held scanners, stand for long periods of time and carry and / or move up to 30lbs if necessary.
  • Previous experience as a tailor or seamstress a must.
  • Experience utilizing various machines.
