Global InfoTek, Inc. is looking for a Kubernetes SME to join our team to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers. This opportunity will help build and shape the Air Force organization where customers are their top priority.

Brief Description:
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the following: Kubernetes, Istio, GitOps.
  • Custom Kubernetes Operators, Custom Helm charts, Custom
  • Admission Controllers, Custom CRDs, Custom Controllers.
  • Extensive knowledge of Linux and network. Extensive experience with
    Kubernetes and containers.
  • Understand each component of Kubernetes control plane.
  • Understand Istio. Have security and compliance knowledge for Kubernetes.
  • Experience in building automation and configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible,
    Terraform).
  • Knowledge of Cloud (AWS, Azure, oci, et.).
  • Worked with common infrastructure tools like Docker, Terraform, and Helm.
  • Experience working with a product that has end-users.
  • Have a software development background. Have a CKA Certification.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for implementations.
Required Skills:
  • Demonstrated Knowledge as a Kubernetes expert.
  • Demonstrated Knowledge as a Istio expert.
  • Experience with GitOps deployment in hybrid environments
  • Experience with Custom Admission Controllers, Operators, CRDs, Controllers.
  • Must have experience with security and compliance experience for Kubernetes.
  • Must have a DoD 8570.01 Level II certification.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experienced Agile/Scrum
