Michelin is hiring We are looking for a data scientist to join our company be a key player in our IT Business Intelligence & Analytics team.

Overview:

The Senior Data Scientist manages and analyses disparate datasets, researches and implements Machine Learning and Advanced Analytics (ARIMA, optimization, etc) solutions to address complex business questions. He/ She will collaborate with Business leaders across the company to accelerate the development and deployment of Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Machine Learning (ML) models, and influence and innovate solutions that impact the business.

This job opportunity is open to 100% remote work if needed.

What you'll do:

Partner with the business to scope out opportunities and potential value creation.

Master the Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Marketing and Sales value chains.

Determine the relevant data among those available and identifying the missing data to acquire to successfully implement the opportunity.

Explore, select, and create features to build models.

Fit and evaluates Machine Learning/Advanced Analytics/Advanced Statistics models to solve the business problem and satisfy acceptance criteria.

Present the results and the model (performances and limits) to business leadership and lead technical discussions for model improvement.

Design, build, and automate all steps of the Machine Learning (MLOps) industrialization workflow.

Collaborate with product managers and internal partners to automate integrated AI/ML systems.

Develop partnerships, standard processes, network and knowledge by :

  • Mentoring less experienced people
  • Transmitting knowledge by development and deployment of training modules and various other communication methods
  • Participating in the development of the Data Science Roadmap and Network
  • Accelerating the adoption of Artificial Intelligence across the enterprise through the use of machine learning, modern architecture and software engineering best practices
What youll bring:

Bachelors Degree or greater in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent.

Must have experience with data science methodology and techniques: Exploratory Data Analysis, Feature Engineering, Cross Validation, Visualization, Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning, Predictive Modeling

Relevant software development skills with Python and PySpark; proficiency using Azure Service, Databricks and software repositories.

Exposure/experience putting into production models with MLOps: CI/CD workflows with a Product approach.

Collaborate and work within an international team environment.
