Job Description:Central State Hospital is seeking a full-time Recovery Services Specialist to join the Recovery Services teamThis position will primarily work M-F, 8am-4:30pm but will rotate some evening and weekend hours.Job DetailsPlans, schedules and conducts psychoeducational classes on recovery as assigned (e. g., medication side effects, ADL, communication skills, stress management strategies).Provides therapeutic support within the units and Recovery Center.Teaches and models healthy behaviors, consistent with the treatment/care goals of recovery.Contributes to safe and therapeutic environment by practicing verbal de-escalation and, as authorized, other behavior management techniques.Completes and maintains service documentation according to mandated standards.Communicates information relevant to care, treatment, and services, with other staff members.Assist with patient care duties and other activities as necessary.(The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job.
