Summary
The Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is a strategic financial leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of the FP&A function within an organization. This role plays a critical role in supporting informed decision-making across the business by providing accurate financial insights, forecasts, and analysis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and manage the FP&A team:

Build, develop, and motivate a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Develop and oversee the financial planning and forecasting process:

Manage the annual budgeting process, including setting financial targets, allocating resources, and monitoring performance. Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts. Seek out and implement improvement opportunities that will create enhanced visibility, execution efficiency or enhancements needed to support the evolving business.
Conduct financial analysis and modeling:

Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Develop and utilize financial models to support strategic decision-making. Specifically, develop and implement the utilization of client level profitability incorporating all elements of revenue and cost.
Provide financial insights and recommendations:

Present financial information and analysis to senior management, Carlyle and the Board of Directors. Translate complex financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.
Partner with cross-functional teams:

Collaborate closely with other business leaders and departments to understand their needs and provide them with the financial support they require. Critical areas of support include Supply Chain, Operations, Accounting, Revenue Cycle/Billing, and Sales & Marketing
Provide financial support for Capital Investments: partner with EPMO on strategic capital investment opportunities and provide ROI analysis justifying investments.
Drive continuous improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices:

Continuously learn and stay updated on new developments in FP&A and finance.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
10+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis in roles with escalating responsibility, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
At least 5 years of supervisory experience with track record to employee development and engagement
Previous experience in Pharmacy or Healthcare strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proven track record of success in developing and implementing financial models and forecasts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and explain complex financial data.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to effectively communicate financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Leadership skills, with the ability to build, direct, and motivate a team.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in financial modeling tools such as Excel, SQL Query skills, Tableau and database structure knowledge.

This position is a hybrid position with a minimum of 3 days in the Lakeland, FL facility on a weekly basis.

Typical office environment which requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment including operation of standard phone, fax machine, and copier.
