Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/29/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Nevada requiring a NV RN license and proficiency in advanced critical care skills. Responsibilities Work in a fast-paced Emergency Department at multiple locations as needed in the Reno and Sparks, NV area Responsible for care of urgent care, psychiatric, pediatric, critical care, and trauma patients 12-hour night shifts with variable days and shift locations based on department needs No on-call required, but on-call open shifts may be picked up voluntarily Cerner EMR system experience required Manage critical care interventions including medication titrations, arterial lines, mass blood transfusions, and chest tubes Coordinate and deliver complex nursing care to ensure safety and high-quality outcomes Required to submit two professional references, with at least one from the most recent employer ED team environment with a focus on high acuity patient care COVID and flu vaccination documentation required Requirements Active NV RN license with no pending status Minimum 2 years recent ER experience in a United States hospital Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI (AHA only) Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program BSN highly desired Must live at least 50 miles from the facility (no locals accepted) Must provide proof of US Social Security Number Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-633768.
