Stands at their station for their shift with limited movement outside of that area. Cleaning Crew Laborer Shift:Mid-Day Shift, 2:00 pm - 12:00 am, Monday - Friday Pay:$19.40/hr (includes shift differential) Cleaning up the sand throughout the foundry. The team operates primarily after production hours when machinery and equipment are not being used. Goes into tight spaces and upstairs (cannot be afraid of heights). Moves to multiple areas throughout the foundry. Finish Grinder Pay:$18.80/hour Shift:Monday-Friday - 5a-3p or 6p-4p Summary Description:Clean parts according to process procedures and meet quality standards for that part using grinders to ensure that castings meet quality standards required by the customer. Essential Functions: Grind and finish parts to ensure that castings meet quality standards Inspect castings before and after grinding for visual defects Lift and transfer castings from containers to grinding table, lift and transfer castings from grinding table to finished parts container Comply with Company safety policies and procedures Move (push/pull) material pallets on rollers Assist in training co-workers Maintain a good attendance record Keep work area clean and perform housekeeping duties Record data as required on all internal documents Perform set-ups, attend to minor breakdowns and report other equipment conditions as necessary Perform any and all other job related tasks as assigned required-skills: Requirements: Must have High School diploma or GED. Must meet client's background requirements. Must be team-oriented. Must be able to follow written and oral instruction. Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Must be focused and have strong attention to detail Must be able to use the following machines, tools, equipment and/or work aids: Grinders, vibratory tools and hand/power tool WORK ENVIRONMENT:In general, the following conditions of the work environment are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
