WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Contribute to the technology vision and planning processes.
  • Lead the development of policies, procedures and standards for healthcare IT solutions, implementation and support, especially relating to project methodology and management.
  • Assure understanding and adherence of standard enterprise Project Management practices, including Project Governance
  • Ensure a best in class Portfolio Management Office including staff competencies, project intake, resourcing and reporting.
  • Work closely with Business Relationship Management (BRM) resources to assure alignment with organizational strategy and operational partnership to drive requests and enhancements.
  • Publish updates on organizational capacity and status reports for key critical projects.
  • Assure the delivery of multi-modal training programs including training staff competencies, proficiency and efficiency evaluations and end user satisfaction surveys.
  • Partner with IS and Healthcare Operational Leaders to maintain trusted relationships and ensure efficient completion of organizational objectives including value and benefit reporting.
  • Responsible for helping present new opportunities to the organization as it relates to business objectives.
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
  • Prior experience in Project Management leadership
  • Experience in an executive management capacity.
  • Experience leading large-scale deployment and optimization projects.
  • Knowledge of IT Standards, Procedures, and Policies.
  • Supervisory and team leadership skills, including coaching, engaging and developing employees.
  • Product and Vendor Evaluation.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or related field - Required
  • Master's Degree - Preferred
  • 10+ years progressively responsible technology leadership roles - Required - AND -
  • 5 years experience in an executive management capacity - Required - AND -
  • 5 years proven experience in the health care industry - Preferred
  • 5 years Experience leading large-scale deployment and optimization projects - Preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) - Preferred
