Thespecialist also performs Cardiac Cath Lab procedures maintaining proper steriletechnique, performs stress tests, practices radiation safety, and transportspatients.JobDescription Correlates the analysis of invasive and noninvasive tests to recognize need for additional intervention and reports pertinent findings to Physician. Performs hemodynamic and control room duties maintaining a working knowledge of equipment. Prepares and performs the Cardiac Cath Lab for procedures according to standard operating procedures, i.e., proper supplies, equipment set-up, etc. Practices radiation safety in order to protect both staff members and the patient. Performs and monitors patient's stress tests.
