Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and products using various welding techniques. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of welding principles, be proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings, and possess a keen eye for detail to ensure the quality of the finished product. This position requires physical strength, dexterity, and a commitment to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities:Perform welding tasks using different techniques such as TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), to join or repair metal components. Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to ensure accurate and precise fabrication. Set up and operate welding equipment, including selecting proper welding tools, gases, and wire or electrode materials. Inspect materials for defects and ensure they meet required specifications before starting the welding process. Clean, prepare, and arrange metal surfaces to be welded, removing any impurities or contaminants. Conduct welding tests to assess the quality of welds and make necessary adjustments to achieve optimal results. Maintain welding equipment by performing regular maintenance and repairs. Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects. Monitor inventory of welding materials and report any shortages or needed supplies to the supervisor. Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Preferred qualifications: Candidate must have some or all the following Educational/Technical requirements:High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in Welding Proven experience as a Welder or similar role in metal fabrication. Familiarity with reading technical drawings and blueprints. Must be familiar with Machines and the use of tips, nozzles and other machine issues. Ability to operate and maintain welding equipment effectively. Preferred skills and abilities:Candidate must have some or all the following skills and abilities:Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship. Physical stamina and the ability to work in various positions, including standing, kneeling, and bending for extended periods. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to adhere to safety standards. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot welding issues. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
